Using the tools
Is the tool hard to use?
No. You fill in marked cells, retirement accounts, savings, expected spending. All calculations, tables, and charts update automatically. You do not write formulas, and you cannot break the spreadsheet.
What information do I need to have ready?
The basics: current age, expected retirement age, balances in each retirement account type (401(k), IRA, Roth, HSA), expected spending in retirement. Each product page shows the full list before purchase.
Do I need to know Excel formulas?
No. Every formula is already in place. You fill in the marked cells only.
Does it work on both Mac and Windows?
Yes. The tools work in Microsoft Excel on Mac and Windows, and in Google Sheets. We send both versions after purchase.
Where is my data stored?
The Excel version: only on your own computer. We never see your numbers. The web app: encrypted on our end, exportable anytime.
Is it advice or a planning tool?
A planning tool. Not licensed advice. Consult a licensed advisor before major decisions.
About pricing and payment
What is the founding price?
The first 100 lifetime buyers get a discount: $149 instead of $299. The offer is removed automatically when 100 are sold. No counter on the page, we update the price when the cohort is filled.
How do I get an invoice for business purchase?
Email support@slowshore.com after purchase, we send an invoice with tax details for your books.
Do you offer a discount for buying multiple tools?
Yes. The web app includes all 6 tools for $9 per month ($108 per year) or $149 for lifetime as one of the first 100 buyers. That is cheaper than buying just 3 Excel versions separately.
